I have been thrifting for ten years.
I know a good piece the second I see it. Sometimes before I even flip the tag. There is something about the weight of a fabric, the way a collar sits, the construction of a seam — after a decade of hunting through racks, your hands just know. And when you find that piece — the one that shouldn’t be there, the one that makes you do a double take — there is a rush that honestly never gets old.
For years I built one of the top reselling businesses on Poshmark. Piece by piece, rack by rack, thrift store by thrift store. I loved every second of it. And then life got busy and the sales slowed and I stepped back more than I wanted to. But I never stopped thrifting. I couldn’t. It’s not just a hobby — it’s genuinely one of my favorite things to do.
So when I started building Forever Face and creating fashion content, it felt like the most natural thing in the world to bring these two worlds together. Why was I keeping my love of thrifting completely separate from everything else I was doing?
That’s how The Thrift Edit was born.
Here’s how it works: I hit the thrift stores, I find pieces that stop me in my tracks, I bring them home and I style them into outfits that feel current, elevated and completely wearable. The best pieces end up in my Poshmark shop at ForeverFace so you can shop the looks directly.
This is Episode 1. I hope you love it as much as I loved putting it together.
Outfit 1 — The Blazer That Stopped Me Cold

I spotted this blazer from across the rack and I knew immediately. The abstract print — black, cream and gold — is bold without being overwhelming and the structured shoulders give it that editorial quality that is incredibly hard to find. This is a vintage piece and you can feel it the second you pick it up — the construction, the weight, the way it holds its shape. I belted it over a white ribbed mini skirt, added black strappy heels and a black pleated bag and suddenly this vintage thrift find looked like something straight off a mood board.
This is the kind of piece that proves thrifting isn’t about settling. It’s about finding something nobody else saw coming.

Outfit 2 — The Metallic Moment

A vintage sleeveless gold metallic turtleneck and black leather pants walked into a thrift store and I said absolutely not — meaning I absolutely could not leave without them. 😄
The vintage metallic turtleneck has this gorgeous warm gold shimmer that catches the light without being over the top. Paired with the black leather pants, a gold chain belt, white crossbody and clear heels — this outfit has a night out energy that feels expensive and intentional from head to toe. The gold chain belt ties everything together perfectly and gives it that pulled together elevated feel.
Sometimes I try on pieces when I’m listing them and I have to talk myself out of keeping them. This was one of those outfits. I’m not going to lie — it was a tough one to let go.

Outfit 3 — The Fun One

Not every thrift find has to be serious. This vintage tropical print crop top is bold, colorful and completely joyful — and I had so much fun styling it. Paired with my black Levi’s 501 ’90s, a gold belt and my green Coach bag — the color coordination between the greens in the print and the bag was completely intentional and I love when that comes together.
This vintage top is the kind of piece that makes you smile the second you put it on. It’s fun, it’s current and it’s the perfect summer going out top for anyone who isn’t afraid of a little color.
